General rental terms

Purpose

These terms govern the self-drive vehicle rental offered by Life Car Prestige. Any booking request constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Driver requirements

The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a driving licence valid for over 2 years. An ID and a bank card in their name are required at handover.

Booking and payment

A request sent from the site is not a firm booking: it is confirmed by our team within 24 h. No payment is taken online; settlement is made at key handover.

Deposit

A deposit, the amount of which depends on the model, is held on a bank card at handover and released in full on return, subject to the condition of the vehicle and the absence of offences.

Insurance and excess

Each vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance with an excess. The excess waiver option, taken at booking, reduces this excess. Damage to tyres, underbody and interior remains the renter’s responsibility.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free up to 48 h before the pick-up date. As no amount was taken online, no refund is necessary.

Use of the vehicle

The vehicle may only be driven by the drivers named on the contract. The following are prohibited: subletting, paid passenger transport, participation in competitions, leaving Moroccan territory without written agreement, and driving on unpaved tracks.

Fuel and mileage

Mileage is unlimited. The vehicle is handed over with a fuel level recorded at departure and must be returned at the same level, failing which the difference is invoiced.

Late return and extension

Any extension must be requested before the due time. An unannounced delay beyond one hour results in an additional day being charged.

Disputes

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca.
